The last session of the day will always end by 5pm, so expect most people to be packing up and queuing to leave the venue at this time.

Fuel

Fuel is not available on-site. You are free to exit the circuit at any point during the day if you need to top-up fuel at nearby fuel stations.

Garages and power

Second to Donington Park, Brands has plenty of good garages to use on a first come first served basis, so aim to arrive promptly to increase the chance of nabbing a garage for the day. Garages have power, which is a reliable supply.

Novice riders

There are more beginner friendly tracks that would be recommended before Brands Hatch Indy. having said that, you can learn the track quickly as it is small, however it is an easy one to make mistakes on, especially with cold tyres. Take time to get heat into your tyres before pushing harder and do not clip the red & white paint.

Circuit overview

Brands Hatch Indy Circuit, located in Kent, is one of the most popular venues for motorcycle track days in the UK. Known for its compact yet thrilling layout, the Indy Circuit is 1.2 miles (1.93 km) long and features 6 corners that offer a mix of tight, technical turns and fast straights. This shorter layout is ideal for riders looking to maximize track time, as lap times are quick, giving plenty of opportunities to refine riding skills. The circuit’s fast pace and high-intensity environment make it a favorite among both novice and experienced riders. The track’s signature section is Paddock Hill Bend, an iconic corner with a steep downhill drop that requires precise braking and a smooth line to maintain control. From there, the track sweeps uphill through Druids Hairpin, the slowest corner on the circuit, where late braking and tight cornering technique are key. After Druids, riders head downhill again through Graham Hill Bend, a fast left-hander that tests throttle control on exit. The final sector includes the Cooper Straight and the quick right-hander Clearways, leading into the main straight where riders can unleash the full power of their bikes. Brands Hatch Indy is perfect for motorcycle track days due to its tight, technical nature, which helps riders develop important skills such as braking control, cornering precision, and smooth throttle transitions. The frequent elevation changes and combination of fast and slow corners challenge riders to adapt quickly, making it a great place to improve overall bike handling. The shorter layout also allows for more frequent laps, giving riders the chance to practice and refine their skills with every session. The circuit has a rich motorsport history, having hosted events from grassroots racing to major championships like the British Superbike (BSB) series. This deep connection with motorsport adds to the atmosphere, giving riders the chance to experience a track that has been graced by some of the best in the sport. While the Indy layout may be small compared to some other UK circuits, it packs a punch in terms of excitement, offering riders an engaging and challenging track day experience. With its accessible location and excellent facilities, Brands Hatch Indy Circuit is an ideal destination for motorcyclists looking for a fun and fast-paced track day. Whether you're sharpening your racecraft or just enjoying the thrill of the ride, the Indy layout delivers an exhilarating experience in a historic setting.
